Double-walled pipes provide double protection through their inner and outer walls, ensuring that if the inner pipe leaks, the outer pipe prevents fuel from escaping into the environment, thus mitigating the risk of fire, explosions, and other hazardous incidents.

The gap between the inner and outer pipes is typically equipped with a leakage detection system to promptly identify potential leakage risks. These pipes excel in transporting cryogenic liquids such as LNG, effectively isolating the low temperatures from the external environment. They also comply with the stringent regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and various national classification societies, ensuring the safety and environmental performance of dual-fuel ships.
